UN Internal Workshop Illustrations
This project created illustrations for an internal UN workshop on workplace sexual harassment, exploring why victims don't report incidents and how to better support them.
The illustrations follow a Muslim woman who is her family's sole caregiver. She experiences harassment but cannot report it, fearing income loss and social stigma. This narrative made abstract barriers—retaliation, economic vulnerability, cultural stigma—tangible and relatable.
Project Use & Impact: The illustrations facilitated workshop discussions and were shared across UN offices, helping visualize barriers that silence survivors and informing more culturally sensitive reporting mechanisms.
Key challenge: Creating respectful visuals that illustrate reporting barriers without causing harm to survivors present.
