Hubble Therapeutics
This animated communication piece was developed for Hubble Therapeutics, a biotechnology company advancing gene therapy for Leber Congenital Amaurosis Type 16 (LCA16), a rare genetic retinal disease that causes progressive vision loss and blindness.
The animation presents the biological challenges of LCA16 and illustrates how the therapy aims to restore retinal function by delivering healthy gene copies into retinal cells, translating complex gene therapy concepts into clear visual explanations for both scientific and non-specialist audiences.
Project Use & Impact: The animation was used in investor presentations, partnership discussions, and patient advocacy outreach to communicate Hubble's therapeutic approach, helping diverse stakeholders understand the science and potential impact of the treatment.
Key challenge: Making specialized gene therapy research comprehensible and compelling across technical and non-technical stakeholders in the rare disease community.
