Airna Therapeutics

Airna Therapeutics develops RNA-editing medicines designed to precisely repair disease-causing genetic variants and restore normal protein function.

This animation explains the biological basis of Alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency (AATD)-an inherited disorder causing serious lung and liver disease—and illustrates how Airna's approach repairs the underlying genetic error to restore functional protein production, making cutting-edge genetic medicine accessible without losing scientific precision.

Project Use & Impact: The animation was used in investor pitches, partnership discussions, and patient advocacy outreach to communicate Airna's therapeutic approach, helping stakeholders understand both the disease mechanism and the innovation.

Key challenge: Communicating novel RNA-editing technology in a way that's scientifically credible yet accessible to diverse stakeholders in the rare disease and biotech communities.

Note: This project is currently in development.
